Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors to our establishment.

Duties:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner

- Register guests, assign rooms, and provide them with appropriate information

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner

- Assist guests with check-in/check-out processes

- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism

- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information

- Process payments and maintain cash handling procedures

- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure smooth operations

- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area

Skills:

- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications

- Knowledge of medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and patient care procedures (preferred)

- Familiarity with medical billing processes (preferred)

- Basic understanding of anatomy and medical terminology (preferred)

- Strong sales skills with experience in retail sales (preferred)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally

- Knowledge of ophthalmology practices (preferred)
