Overview:
Carolina Developmental Pediatrics is a specialist medical office serving children with developmental delays. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our medical practice. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. This is a key role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively. The position is part-time and has some flexibility.
Duties may include:
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
- Serve as HIPAA compliance office for the practice.
- Maintaining insurance and compliance protocols and certifications. Ensure that all medical licensees are active and current
- Oversee and manage pharmaceutical and support provider reps.
- Develop and implement training programs for new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff
- Work closely with the doctor/owner and manage his schedule for optimum efficiency of the practice.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues or concerns
- Deal with any issues that may arise not assigned to other staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a manager or in a similar administrative role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn and master EMR software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
