We’re hiring a Material Specialist for our Southeast Houston area client!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Material Specialist
• Location: Southeast Houston area
• Pay: $16-$18/hr.
• Hours: 7am-3:30pm M-F
• Duration: Temp-to-Hire
• Description of Duties: Busy Manufacturing Company on the Southeast side of Houston is looking for a Material Specialist to perform the following job duties: pull orders, handle material and ensure materials are allocated in to the correct department. Check diameters and lengths of picked material with bolt gauges and tape measure, scan material into database, print labels, maintain an accurate inventory of customer material and tooling, order material as needed, receive and verify material
• Requirements: Prior experience in a similar role, ability to read tape measure, basic math skills, ability to use computer and scanner, forklift experience, prior experience working with steel bar a plus, bilingual a plus
