Carlson Building Supplies is a family owned, full service retail home center and building materials supplier offering kitchen cabinets, paint, windows, doors, lumber, hardware, plumbing, electrical, drywall, shingles and roofing products, tools and accessories, and much more. Carlsons was founded in 1980, by Boyd W. Carlson in Ashland, WI. We still operate on the same 3 city blocks, and remain dedicated to our hard-working customers, employees, and vendors.

We are looking for a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing payments, and assisting in day-to-day operations. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will also have experience with POS systems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide customers with accurate information about products and services.
• Operate cash registers and other point-of-sale equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
