Lead Retention Specialist/Case Manager 

We are seeking a Lead Retention Specialist/Case Manager who will be responsible for collecting and tracking the employment gain and retention data from the Student Services Departments. The LRS will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop, plan, monitor, and implement the department’s system of obtaining required information from students as dictated by the Annual School Performance Index Report & Evaluation (ASPIRE). In addition, the LRS will develop a system to track Student Services’ student contact time for annual reports and productivity tracking purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs data collection, analysis, and interpretation of the Annual School Performance Index Report & Evaluation (ASPIRE) and other reporting as required.
  • Follows up with students as they exit from the program to obtain employment information and provide referrals to case managers, counselors, and employment specialists as needed.
  • Ensures the integrity of report data as well as its manipulation, processing, and analysis once the final follow-up list has been validated by the Learning and Evaluation Department,
  • Prepares monthly and annual reports for both campuses for review by the Directors of the Student Services
  • Prepares presentations that reflect the results of the data analysis as approved by the Directors and provides data-related training to staff.
  • Provide case management support to our students and track interactions by creating cases in Maestro and Google referral lists.
  • Support and facilitate the Student Government meetings and projects with the lead student government facilitator. 
  • Responsible for generating active student employment status lists and provided to the employment specialist team. 
  • Participates in various departmental, campus, or school initiatives related to recruitment and employment retention for student success
  • Additional duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience or an appropriate combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience with behavior intervention programs that provide job readiness skills, job placements, and recruitment and retention services for adult students.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed information on large data sets.
  • Proven ability to interact with populations of diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or Amharic (verbal and written proficiency)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks and establish priorities.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team and to function effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and during final ASPIRE outcome preparation and audit times.
  • Must be able to provide proof of completed Covid-19 vaccination

Hourly rate ranges from $30.79 per hour to $40.86 per hour
