Description:
We are on the lookout for a warm and experienced nanny to join a loving family in Coral Gables, Miami. This position involves caring for two vibrant children, ages 3 and 6, and also includes looking after the family's friendly dog. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves working with school-aged children, offering both educational support and creative play, while also comfortable with pet care. This role is perfect for a nanny who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives, providing them with a nurturing and structured environment.
Responsibilities:
Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children.
Assist the children with their daily routines, including meals, educational activities, and homework help for the 6-year-old.
Organize activities that enhance the children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Engage in outdoor activities and walks with the children and the family dog.
Manage the children's schedules, including any appointments or activities.
Light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as keeping their rooms tidy and laundry.
Ensure the well-being of the family's dog, including feeding and daily walks.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider, specifically with school-aged children, accompanied by references.
Love for children and pets, with a nurturing and patient demeanor.
Ability to engage children in educational and creative activities.
Reliable, with a commitment to the family's schedule.
First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with parents on the children's development and daily activities.
