CARES is Hiring a BCBA Near New York, NY
The mission of CARES (Community Assistance Resources and Extended Services, Inc.) is to assist children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (ID/DD) and/or mental health conditions and their families, in particular, from under-served multilingual communities, access information, obtain resources and services.
Salary Range: $80-$102,500k Locations: Lower East Side & Bensonhurst, NY

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
CARES is looking for a full-time 40hr a week BCBA to our expanding program. We are looking for BCBA's that are hard-working and passionate about the growth and development of people with disabilities. They will join our multidisciplinary clinical team, train and supervise psychology interns, social workers, and mental health counselors. Supervision will be in our offices, home and community based (i.e., daycares).
- Perform Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) and the ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP Assessments
- Development of behavior plans and skill acquisition plans
- Supervise and train clinicians on ABA cases
- Train and work with direct support personnel in our Dayhab locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Masters Degree in ABA
- BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Designation as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of New York
- At least two years of professional experience post-licensure with people with autism and related developmental disabilities
- Supervisory experience, LBA is a plus
- Expertise with Discrete Trial Training (DTT); Natural Environment Training (NET)
- Experience training staff and/or parents
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
