Manhattan Psychology Group is Hiring a Part-Time Case Supervisor (NY-LBA, BCBA) Near New York, NY

Title: Part-Time Case Supervisor (NY-LBA, BCBA)
Classification: Employee, Part-time, In-Person, Hourly, Exempt
Location: Varies based on case (Cases available in Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens)
Pay Range: $85-105/hr
Pay Frequency: Biweekly
Reports To: Director of Commercial ABA

Position Summary

A Part-Time Case Supervisor at MPA is a New York Licensed Behavior Analyst who will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, functional analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills. The Case Supervisor will also oversee behavior technicians and provide ongoing support and supervision as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with treatment plans.

Position Responsibilities

  • Foster a behavior analytic practice consistent with MPA’s mission, vision, and values
  • Complete assessments (VB-MAPP, AFLS, SKILLS, FBAs) and write treatment plans and BIPs
  • Write reports as led by assessment, including treatment plans, and behavior intervention plans
  • Continually analyze skill acquisition and behavior reduction data
  • Provide direct and indirect supervision of highly qualified behavior technicians, including feedback for technician skill development
  • Support families through parent training as approved by the funder
  • Submit written and/or digital reports and invoices within established timelines using Rethink software
  • Provide staff training as needed for program implementation
  • Fully engage in ongoing in-house training and professional development

    Position Qualifications

    • Must be a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (NY-LBA).
    • Master’s degree in psychology, special education, or related human services field
    • Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in the analysis of behavior and instructional strategies training
    • Competent in behavior management, skill instruction, oral and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrate competence with the autistic population and one or more of the age groups served by MPA
    • Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
    • Knowledge of DTT programming and implementation
    • Knowledge of naturalistic ABA programming and implementation
    • Geographic flexibility throughout the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens is required, though provider location preference is a consideration in case placement

    Position Conditions

    • Must be able to work in the NYC metro area in locations of the candidate's choice in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, or other locations
    • Must be physically present at the assigned job location, including homes, schools, and community placements
    • Must be willing and able to travel between different job sites
    • Must be able to sit on the floor, stand for extended periods of time, lift, and carry weight, not to exceed 50 pounds
    • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures, including kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time
