Duties:

  • Conducting electrocardiogram (EKG) tests to monitor and record electrical activity of the heart.
  • Administration of stress tests & Holter monitor procedures.
  • Accurate placement of leads on patients to ensure precise readings.
  • Maintenance and calibration of EKG equipment.
  • Fulfilling necessary administrative duties, including patient scheduling and data entry of test results.
  • Assisting the medical team in the interpretation and diagnosis of cardiac disorders, based on EKG results.
  • Upholding exceptional patient care- comforting and reassuring patients during testing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of EKG procedures and equipment.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with a keen sensitivity to patient needs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work cohesively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • A solid understanding of medical terminology, as well as HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
