Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing patients for examinations, performing routine diagnostic checks, and monitoring pulse, blood pressure, and temperature.
• Assisting doctors during medical examinations and procedures, this includes dressing wounds and sterilizing medical instruments.
• Taking patient medical histories and inputting them into our database.
• Working collaboratively with nursing staff and providers to meet patient needs.
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
• Processing billing information and insurance verification.
• Ensuring clean, organized, and stocked exam rooms.
• Adhere strictly to compliance measures and patient confidentiality rights

Qualifications:

• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster patient comfort and enhance the physician's effectiveness.
• Strong clerical skills, recording patient details, and handling administrative tasks efficiently.
• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate required
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proven commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, following all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three months of hire.
