Duties:

The hired Certified Medical Assistant would proficiently take up the following duties:

  1. Preparing patients for examinations by undertaking preparatory responsibilities like measuring blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
  2. Assisting physicians during patient examinations, helping with procedures and carrying out phlebotomy tasks.
  3. Maintaining medical inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  4. Managing scheduling tasks, making changes or adjustments as necessary while abiding by the office's scheduling policies.
  5. Outlining care and discussing patients’ progress or requirements with healthcare providers.
  6. Maintaining patients’ records securely and confidentially.
  7. Running routine lab tests and operating electrocardiograms.
  8. Communicating with patients and their families to explain procedures and treatment protocols.

Requirements: 

We invite applications from candidates with:

  1. Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certification.
  2. Sound knowledge of medical laws and ethics plus a strong commitment to adherence.
  3. Excellent communication, patient management, and clinical skills.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. The ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments.
  6. Proven ability to work in a team-centered environment.
  7. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  8. Proof of COVID vaccination.
