Role : The VP, Insurance Sales Solutions reports to President, UCT and works closely with the leadership teams. The incumbent will be responsible for driving the technical sales and growth strategy for our products and services. This person will enjoy building a robust sales pipeline through strategic planning, connecting people and companies to solutions, innovating new business angles, and will be part of a valued and growing team.
Your Day with UCT:
Build, develop and discover prospective clients and new target segments.
Provide pre-sales and sales services to potential and new clients, make use of each opportunity and client relationship to discover and pursue additional business.
Prepare and adapt promotional presentations to clients needs.
Develop and maintain client information records of key personnel, product usage and developing opportunities.
Plan, develop and implement social strategies/campaigns.
Expand and maintain effective knowledge of markets, competition, products and strategies.
Collaborate with the broader corporate sales team in assuring regional performance, all sales activities and collateral, client satisfaction, execution of company and corporate business plans.
Develop common strategies with a broader corporate sales team and ensure target attainment.
Requirements:
Technical & Soft
skills
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or Information Technology
5 years proven experience as a sales consultant, preferably in the IT sector
Strong background with Data Technologies, Techniques, and Tools
Demonstrated ability to build a sales pipeline and close deals
Software Sales experience in the insurance or financial services industries
Excellent verbal and written skills in English
Proven presentation skills to a wide variety of audiences
Strong organizational and communication skills
Position requires frequent travel
Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline
Nice to Haves:
Knowledge of French or Spanish is an asset
