Salary: $75000 - 150000 OTE, annually

The ProductPlan sales team is a competitive but collaborative group! Successful reps are goal-driven and process-oriented product experts who are tenacious and coachable. You can expect regular coaching, constructive feedback, and a focus on professional development.

In this full-cycle, inside sales role, you’ll connect with product leaders, project managers, IT directors, and marketing managers who have opened online trials or engaged with our search-topping content. You’ll share valuable insight about roadmapping; demonstrate the ProductPlan solution; resolve objections; differentiate us from our competitors; coach customer champions to sell internally; and negotiate terms and conditions.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Connect with prospects at different stages via phone, email, and social media
  • Develop, manage and meet goals related to pipeline management and recurring revenue bookings both high value and transactional accounts
  • Identify and build relationships with key champions and decision-makers within various organizations along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling ProductPlan solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements
  • Document your interactions with prospects and maintain a high level of detail
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about ProductPlan software
  • Competently discuss other technologies in our ecosystem, including those of our partners and competitors
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine messaging, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Help to foster internal growth, collaboration and teamwork

Required Experience, Education, & Skills:

  • 2 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in the SaaS industry
  • Exceed sales objectives using a consultative, solutions-focused approach
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both externally to prospective clients and internally to upper management 
  • Ability to work with all levels within an organization
  • Experience with cloud-based office software and CRM such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Google Apps, etc. 
  • Able to demonstrate experience with sales, persuasion, and negotiating 
  • Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Curious, intelligent, coachable and able to learn quickly
  • Possessing a strong work ethic, conscientious and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • Passion for continuous improvement through collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to effectively communicate progress and objectives to upper management 
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to thrive in a rapidly changing startup environment
  • Willing and able to share your “best practices” and learn from your mistakes
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
