Description

We are seeking a Program Manager III to join the Rackspace Sales Academy (RSA) responsible for driving the execution of global Technical Sales Training and Enablement programs. As a master collaborator you will coordinate with key stakeholders across Rackspace, define strategy, collect requirements and deliver continuous learning to technical sales Rackers.
Responsibilities include:

• Works closely with regional Americas, APJ and EMEA Solution Engineering/Architecture and Sales Enablement teams to get high-quality training modules built, tested, and deployed on time.
• Identifies and manages risks, making sound judgments about quality, and stopping (or speeding up) content launch at the right time.
• Gathers requirements and defines the scope of each project.
• Finds resources, manages resource allocation for projects.
• Develops a plan and schedule, with well-defined milestones.
• Works with Rackspace Sales Academy Program Managers to develop and track release milestones and schedules.
• Manages communication of progress/status within the core team and external to the team (customers, partners, etc.); escalate issues, as necessary.

• Bachelor’s Degree required OR equivalent work experience high school diploma required.
• Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 5 years as a Program Manager required.
• 5-8 years of total experience related to role required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple international projects and people acting as a technical lead.
• Proven ability to work on assignments that require data evaluation, recommendation development, and decision making.
• A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a very fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Rackspace technologies
