The role involves evolving the client coverage model, using a consultative sales process to acquire and expand client relationships, and developing sales proficiency across a diverse offering menu of alternative investment strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for geographic focus on the western portion of the territory and is expected to travel regularly to meet with advisors and clients. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and general partners to educate advisors and drive adoption. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a strong initiative, and able to work effectively within a client-facing capacity. This position requires at least 10 years of experience in the alternative investment industry, a Bachelors degree, and a strong preference for candidates with progress towards or completion of the CFA/CAIA designation or an MBA. Experience with registered investment advisors or independent broker dealers is essential, as is a proven track record in selling and supporting alternative investment strategies.Applicants for the Vice President role should be comfortable working in a heavily formulaic compensation model and must have or be willing to obtain the Series 7 and 63 licenses within 60 days of hire, with a willingness to pursue the CAIA designation within 2-3 years. The role is demanding and requires a high level of commitment to the client coverage model and sales goals.
