Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients, a global blockchain frontend to the fixed income market, a Cloud Full Stack Engineer - hybrid role in San Francisco Bay Area.

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack engineer to help us build the first generation of our bond tokenization technology, as well as advance our Bond DEX and On-Chain ETF products. You will be responsible for leading the architecture and implementation of critical backend and frontend systems, and creating integrations between our internal systems, third party TradFi systems, on-chain events, and oracles that will power the EVM’s bond market.

What You'll Do

• Lead architecture and implementation of the bond tokenization v1 backend and frontend, with a focus on databases, microservices, integrations, APIs, and UX implementations.
• Build integrations between on-chain data sources, TradFi systems, and our databases
• Lead implementation of frontend integrations, including financial charts, analytics packages, and linking UI elements to backend data sources
• Own testing procedures and unit test case creation for your areas of ownership
• Build systems at scale to prevent classes of vulnerabilities
• Monitor engineers, and collaborate with designers, product managers to turn requirements into products

Must-Haves

• BS in CS or similar technical degree
• 7 years of fullstack development experience
• Startup Ownership mentality. This means unyielding drive to deliver to customers the best possible product functionality
• Experience building production-grade financial or analytics products, including complex backend systems and data-rich frontends
• Experience delivering single-page applications using modern frontend frameworks (React/View, TypeScript, Redux, Bootstrap)
• Unit, integration and E2E test automation (jest, react-testing-library, MSW, Playwright) as inextricable part of the software development lifecycle
• Comfort developing and maintaining frontend build pipeline (Git, Webpack/Babel, TypeScript, Prettier, ESLint, TSLint)
• Production observability tools such as DataDog and Grafana
• Measuring, debugging, and improving web app performance
• Advanced to native English competency
• Bay Area, starting remote but moving to 3 days in office within 12 months

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with public cloud deployments such as AWS (Amplify, RDS, ECS, EKS et al.)
• Electron application development
• Managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CDN)
• Working knowledge of an object oriented programming language such as Python, Golang, Java, or C
• Working knowledge of Database technologies (SQL/NOSQL)

Bonus

• Solidity, Web3.js
• UNIX Bash, Shell, or TailwindCSS, Python scripting experience
• Strong understanding of the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and L2s
• Passion for blockchain, DeFi, TradFi, crypto, data, and/or economics 
• Experiences with financial services or crypto trading systems
