Responsibilities:

• Perform full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Work with FAA and stakeholders on design and development of safety tools.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions.
• Perform risk analysis system design, mock-up, document, unit testing, system testing, code review, support demonstration to users and deployment of Features to Productions.
• Understand existing coding standards and implement them within code being developed for safety tools.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.JS, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in building REST APIs.
• Design and develop web UI using React and other UI technologies.
• Knowledge/Familiarity with User Design tools like Figma.
• Ability to create and maintain reusable code libraries for API integration.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in UI development.
• Comfortable using Git/Bit Bucket for version control for efficient code management and collaboration.
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues.
• Participate in Agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT Management, other IT degrees are required. Engineering, math, and science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees.
• Required - at minimum 8 years of software development experience including with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL or similar backend database.
•  Experience using RDS in AWS cloud.
• Experience with Angular for front/back-end development.
• Candidates who are Non-Immigrant Aliens (not a U.S. Citizen) or an Immigrant Alien (U.S. Permanent Resident-Green Card Holder) must have resided in the U.S. for a minimum of three (3) years in the last five (5) years.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to our office for occasional in-person requirements.
