Behavior Therapist

Care First Rehabilitation is a growing Neuro-Rehabilitation Program that serves clients of all ages who have Traumatic Brain Injuries from vehicle accidents. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in behavioral management/interventions. The ideal candidate would provide professional, behavioral health services to individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and spinal cord injuries (SCI).

Schedule: 3:00pm-11:30pm (Some weekend availability is preferred...ex. two weekends days a month).

Location: Work along side caregiving staff and nurses in our Adult Foster Care Homes (in Troy AND Farmington)

Responsibilities

• Behavioral interventions and check ins - crisis response (verbal aggression, physical aggression, elopement, med refusal, suicidal ideation)
• Collaborate with Director of Behavioral Health for client behavior plans/treatment goals and creation of monthly behavioral reporting protocols
• Train Rehabilitation Technicians/DCW's on behavioral intervention strategies
• Incident reports/tracking for monthly reports
• Assigned Caseload - daily check-in sessions to assess needs, and be able to provide interventions in real time (assigned caseload to rotate monthly)

Experience:

• Behavioral therapy: 2 years (preferred)
• Must have a minimum of an associates degree
• Non Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention: 2 years (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
