What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance Operations is responsible for core financial operation processes. This can include customer and vendor contract administration; customer and vendor pricing, chargeback research and reconciliation; reporting & analytics.
The primary focus of this role will be ownership of Pharma Chargeback Controls, but with ownership of other ongoing initiatives to support core operations.
Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, accounting policies, systems, controls, and work streams.
Demonstrates experience working in a transactional finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.
Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.
Works collaboratively to respond to non-standard requests
Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.
Responsibilities
Control/audit ownership, direct engagement with all internal and external audit teams on sampling, interviews, and any other support needed
Ownership of Pharma Chargeback quality, training, & SOPs, including ongoing review and process improvements to existing processes
Ownership of team metrics & reporting, including overseeing new reporting build, validation of metric accuracy, providing inputs to future targets and metrics
Ownership and oversight of Pharma Chargeback owned master data inputs
Work directly with accounting on internal account reconciliation, financial inputs, and cross functional alignment
Provides strategy recommendations to next level management and provide direction/delegation to direct reports.
SOX compliance and testing, including approval of SOX controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
8 years’ experience in related field preferred
Experience in finance functional processes
Prior supervisory experience preferred

Anticipated salary range:$102,000 - $145,700
