Columbus REALTORS® is seeking a Senior Director of Finance and Operations to be responsible for ensuring effective accounting and financial management, human resource oversight, and organizational development while maintaining positive relationships and driving the organization towards its goals and strategic objectives!

We are looking for an analytical, outgoing individual with a positive mindset and the ability to listen to our members and problem-solve. Strong decision making, teamwork, personal accountability, and leadership skills are a must! The individual we select will be a team player with a strong balance between confidence and humility. You'll have the chance to work as the trusted advisor to the CEO in a senior leadership empowered position!

Responsibilities include:

·Working with the Accounting team on a daily basis

·Preparing, managing, and overseeing the Annual Budgets for Columbus REALTORS®, MLS, and COCIE

·Staying abreast of financials, making recommendations to the CEO

·Working with Auditors/CPAs on Annual Audit for Columbus REALTORS® and MLS

·Maintaining proactive communication with CEO regarding the organization’s finances and providing suggestions to maximize efficiency and returns

·Prepping and reviewing of monthly financial statements and A/P’s

·Managing attendance and payroll

·Overseeing H/R duties including all employee benefits

·Serving as the administrator for employee’s 401k plan

·Reviewing monthly financial statements with Treasurer and mentor when needed

·Maintaining positive relationships with members and leaders

·Staff liaison for Budget, Finance, and Investment Committee

·Working with investment advisors on investment accounts for Columbus REALTORS® and MLS

·Collaborating with the vendor to manage the key box system

·Managing vendor relations, contracts, and building & maintaining positive relationships

·Working with insurance broker on annual reviews for benefits

·Management of the Associations building (facility management)

·Maintaining a proactive approach towards responsibilities and making suggestions to the CEO for changes

·Working with the CEO and Senior Management team on ongoing projects

·Being a driving force to carry out projects

·Mentoring and developing staff

·Working with staff to develop and set personal growth goals

·Setting organization goals as per CEO’s direction and in alignment with the strategic plan

·Driving the completion of organizational goals

·Building and maintaining positive relationships with employees, maintaining a growth mindset, and positive employee morale

Knowledge and skills required:

·Knowledge of Trade Associations/ Membership organizations is a plus!

·Understanding of employee benefits/401k

·Strong written and verbal communication skills

·Excellent time management skills

·Ability to use CRM or Accounting Software

·Strong presentation skills

·Exceptional interpersonal skills

Experience:

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 10 years in accounting and finance operations, preferably within a trade association environment. Direct experience in membership and volunteer management, as well as a proven track record of successfully overseeing a staff of 10 , and organizational operations for over a decade, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in driving organizational goals, developing emerging leaders, managing benefits including 401k plans, and creating and managing budgets. Experience in providing insightful suggestions to leadership and familiarity with facility management are highly valued assets for this role!

Education:

·Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management

·CAE is a plus!

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range is $115,000-$125,000 yearly depending on experience. The compensation package includes a 401(k) with match and Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
