Here are the qualities we are looking for in our Area Directors:

• You have at least 5 years of leadership experience in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industries with proven success managing financial results

• Experience working in a hands-on, fast paced, high volume environment.

• Previous multi-unit leadership experience or proven performance as a Captain D’s Operator/Trainer.

• Ability to mentor and train teams.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Ability to convey information and provide responses to questions.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Primary Duties:

• Demonstrates Captain D’s Values while creating and inspiring teams to have a #JustBeD’s attitude.

• Teaches D’s Hospitality to all team members in assigned area and demonstrates D’s Hospitality to both internal and external guests.

• Takes initiative to teach and maintain team awareness of Captain D’s procedures.

• Ensures guest satisfaction, Captain D’s standards and safety procedures are followed.

• Ensures team is following food safety rules and procedures while preparing and serving Captain D’s food.

• Ensures overall cleanliness and sanitation of assigned units.

• Maintains awareness of organizational policies, state/local laws and ensures compliance for their assigned area.

• Maintains area’s profitability and sales targets.

• Ensures adequate staffing levels are maintained at both the management and Guest Specialist roles.

• Ensures all disciplinary action is administered appropriately and is delivered with respect.

• Performs other essential duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

• Completion of a Background Check and Valid Driver's License.

• High school degree or equivalent.

Physical / Mental Requirements:

• Continuously utilizes speech, hearing, near vision, eye/hand coordination, color definition, and manual/bi-manual dexterity.

• Frequently stands, walks, reaches above shoulders, bends, lifts and/or carries up to 50 pounds and works closely with others.

• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.

• Occasionally utilizes sense of taste and smell, and far vision. Works around chemicals and cleaners; walks on uneven surfaces; may require utilization of a step stool/ladder; lifts and/or carries up to 50 pounds.

Work Conditions / Hours:

• Minimum of 50 hours weekly.

• Days and hours may vary according to business necessity, including weekends, evenings and/or holidays.

• Standard restaurant working conditions.

• May be exposed to extreme conditions common in a restaurant environment, such as extreme heat or cold from equipment or weather.
