Capital Precast, LLC is Hiring a Forklift Operator Near San Marcos, TX
- Perform Pre-Shift Inspection daily. Document all problems. Report all serious issues immediately prior to operation.
- Always operate equipment in a safe manner
- Maintain safe working speeds in the plant and yard
- Maintain safe working distance between mobile equipment. (50 ft. or three truck lengths)
- Do not operate forklift in or through Safe Zone Areas.
- Avoid running over debris. Take the time to clear a safe path.
- Receive proper training before attempting to flip any products.
- Do not enter or exit Plant or Maintenance Buildings unless bay doors are in the full open position.
- Attend Pre-Shift daily meetings
- Stage/Bring in components for production (report anything missing)
- Move rebar cages as needed for production. Check with steel department for rebar needed to be brought up
- Reload mesh rolls for round cages as needed
- Assist loader with yarding of manhole risers and cones
- Assist with unloading of delivery trucks
- Assist with yarding of smaller product that lift can handle Keep all dumpsters around the building empty
- Ensure Eco-Blocks are being yarded to the proper location as needed
- Unload steel deliveries as they arrive. Put in proper location and ensure no steel is touching the ground.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of forklift
- Other assigned duties
- Monday thru Friday
- 10-12 shifts.
- Overtime is available
