- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on production machinery, including mixers, concrete forms, conveyors, and other equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize production disruptions.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective repairs to restore functionality promptly.
- Operate a variety of tools and machinery, while ensuring precision and safety in every fabrication task.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify equipment improvement opportunities and implement modifications or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to maintenance and repair guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide training and guidance to other fabricators and technicians when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Steel Fabricator in a manufacturing environment, preferably concrete industry.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, using various hand and power tools, and operating fabrication machinery.
- Strong welding skills, including experience with MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
- In depth knowledge of concrete manufacturing equipment, including mixers, molds, concrete forms, and conveyors.
- Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and fabrication systems.
- Familiarity with PLC systems.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and ability to prioritize safety in all aspects of maintenance and fabricating work.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- First shift (morning)
- Monday through Friday
- 10 hour shifts
