THE POSITION

We're looking for a dynamic individual with positive receptionist experience, ready to handle the comings and goings of our company. Pay for this position starts at $15.50/hour.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for answering and transferring calls to the appropriate employee. Responsible for processing all incoming faxes and scans, and distributing them to the correct party. Greet clients and other guests in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. Ensure visitors sign in and provide them with a “Visitor” badge. Distribute and maintain records of all “Temporary” badges provided to employees, when needed. Complete validation calls for the Specialty Inspections Department. Print and validate vendor invoices for Accounts Payable.

Primary Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and transfer phone calls and voicemail messages
• Greet clients and other visiting guests
• Extract and distribute electronic faxes and scans to the appropriate person
• Complete validation calls for Specialty Inspections
• Print and validate vendor invoices as assigned by Accounts Payable
• Assist the Accounting Department with mailings when needed
• Sign for packages and deliveries
• Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to pick up on assigned miscellaneous tasks quickly
