THE POSITION

Canyon State Electric is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety Administrator to enhance our Safety and Training department. This crucial role involves direct reporting to the Safety and Training Manager and plays a key part in upholding our commitment to the highest standards of workplace safety and compliance.

The Safety Administrator will be integral in managing and improving our safety training programs. The role demands a meticulous approach to managing safety records, maintaining training schedules, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate will be able to swiftly adapt to changing conditions and priorities within the workplace, ensuring that all safety protocols are rigorously followed and documented according to the latest standards and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for maintenance and overall accuracy safety training records
  • Maintain training schedule
  • Creating and updating SOPs
  • Assist in preparation for training classes
  • Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management
  • Self-manage and motivated
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Willing to Learn
  • Accountable
  • Self-driven
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
