Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive accounts receivable & collection efforts for division
- Serve as primary support for all areas related to accounts receivable.
- Perform AR related tasks and responsibilities.
- Communicate with clients and customers to collect payments and accurately record them in the system.
- Update and maintain client AP contact and billing information data.
- Prepare and distribute subsidy billings and monthly customer statements.
- Prepare miscellaneous accounts receivable billing and adjustments.
- Process credit card payments and reconcile cc balance sheet accounts related to AR payments.
- Lead and coordinate collection activities with district and unit managers
- Attend and serve as primary contributor on weekly AR collection calls.
- Other duties as assigned by controller.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Computer literacy
- Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and priorities and meet deadlines.
- Collection and accounts receivable experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of account reconciliation processes and procedures preferred.
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- Supervisor experience a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel a plus
- Accounting/finance experience a plus
