The Maintenance Technician will be responsible to transport, install (if applicable), and maintain equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other vending equipment in an organized and structured manner. This team is also responsible for shop rebuilding of vending & office coffee equipment.
*Pre-employment requirements: criminal background check, credit check, drug screen, DMV report and valid drivers license*
Starting pay can be increased based on experience
- Responsible for repairing and installing vending, micro market & office coffee equipment to promote continuous operation of the machines.
- High-School Diploma or GED Technical experience as it relates to general maintenance is preferred.
- Experience with small machine and/or appliance repairs.
- Basic electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and electronics repair experience and/or education is preferred.
- Ability to use and read: Ohm Meter—Volt Meter—Amp Meter. Ability to diagnose and repair faults/failures in 120-volt devices.
- Have own hand tools and meters.
- Lifts from 75-100 lbs regularly and will use various hand tools to complete installation and perform maintenance.
- Experience driving commercial box trucks/Transit vans is preferred, up to 1000 miles per week.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role which includes frequent lifting, standing, stooping, crouching, climbing, driving and walking for extended periods of time.
- Schedule availability must be flexible; typically, M-F 6a to 2:30p. Overtime required if workload demands it.
- After hours on call 1 week per month. Calls go to your work phone between 4p and 7a Monday through Friday. Weekend calls are routed to work phone 4p Friday to 7a Monday. $75 per week stipend when on call.
