The Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown is looking to grow our existing team with a Front of House Supervisor for our Strand Cafe. The Strand Cafe is an upscale casual dining experience located inside the Canopy by Hilton Ithaca, NY. Primary Responsibilities:

? Supervises, trains, and schedules all front of house personnel alongside the FOH Manager.

issues disciplinary action, performs evaluations, develops through training inventory levels.

? Orders and controls of liquors / dry storage and consumables.

? Maintains company standards – ensures beverage preparation and service is performed.

? Assists the back of house manager in cost accountant capacity – reviewing expenditures

versus revenues.

? Manages in compliance with all Company, State, Local, and Federal procedures.

? Maintains health and sanitation standards.

? Acts as part of the hotel’s Manager on Duty program.

? Contributes to the profitability and guest-satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.

? Performs special assignments or projects as requested.

? Tip out trained for bar and servers.

?Must be available nights / weekends/ Holidays / early am

? Is trained in Alcohol Awareness program / TIPS and assists in ensuring all servers have

received such training.

? Holds monthly training meeting with staff.

? Assists with scheduling for bar, front of house and banquet staff.

? In the absence of FOH manager preforms as such.

? Holds monthly promotional meetings with FOH manger and BOH manger assists with

designs for monthly lounge, breakfast, lunch and dinner promotional calendars.

? Does return-on-investment analysis on all major promotions.

? Adheres to designated music format for lounge through DJ supervision and band selection.

? Increases revenues through promotions.
