There is a need for wonderful and amazing help at Canine State of Mind! We are looking for an additional Dog Care Specialist to add to our team.

Canine State of Mind offers the finest in boarding & training for dogs.

The Canine State of Mind position is responsible for the overall care of our guests. Duties include cleaning, feeding, medicating & playing with our guests. Experience in shelters, caring for multiple dogs, and previous dog care experience is a plus but will train the right person.

Open seven days a week; weekend availability is ESSENTIAL.

Communicative And Trustworthy (Will start off part-time, but we are looking for someone who would like to increase up to full-time quickly - 25-40 hours per week)

You must be punctual, have a clean driving record, and be capable of completing different tasks each day!

(We have a certain schedule and need someone reliable and ON TIME each day)

Driver's License is a MUST!

Additional Responsibilities may include:

- Open to completing routes to pick up and drop off dogs in the future after initial probationary/training period is complete (round trip can be anywhere from 7 to 10 hours) **Training will be provided**
- Communicating with clients (dog parents)
- Must be comfortable transporting dogs of all sizes and comfortable driving in the city
- Working on the farm caring for multiple dogs
- House sitting on occasion at my farm
- Organized, has good people skills, extremely responsible, and considerate.
