Front Desk Agent
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Understanding of hospitality management principles and practices
- Experience working at the front desk in a hotel or similar environment
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Additional language proficiency is a bonus
