Lifeguard/ Swim Instructor

Starting salary: $2925 $150 travel allowance | Location: Wilmot, NH | Dates: June 12th - August 10th, 2024

You will maintain the safety of campers aged 8 - 15 and staff by lifeguarding our docks, inflatables and groups using canoes, kayaks and paddle boards.

The employment dates are June 12th – August 10th, 2024. Salary is $2,925 plus $150 travel allowance. In addition to the salary: Red Cross Training, lifeguard uniform, accommodation, food and laundry services are provided.

Job requirements:

• Comfortable in and around open water and basic knowledge of the safety considerations
• Comfortable in deep water with basic ability to use watercraft (Surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
• Ability to pass lifeguard prerequisite exam (550 meter open water swim, tread water without use of hands - 2 min, etc.)
• Experience working with or teaching children preferred
• Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred but not essential
• 18 years of age
