Job Description
The Armed Security Agent will provide security for a licensed Medical Marijuana dispensary in the Kansas, MO area. Security duties may include but are not limited to:
- Facility protection and roving patrol
- Monitoring state of the art surveillance system
- Ensure strict access control
- Entry screening and check-in process
- Maintain visitor log and provide escort to visitors when required
- Maintain activity log
- Provide a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors
- The Security Agent will be required to wear a uniform which will be provided by the employer
Required Qualifications
- Prior military or law enforcement experience, 3-years minimum
- Minimum honorable discharge if separated from military service
- Separation from prior law enforcement agency must be in good standing
- Retired military and law enforcement will be given highest consideration
- Possess current license or can be licensed as an Armed Security Officer in the Kansas City, MO area
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check
- Must possess a valid Missouri or Illinois driver’s license
- Must be able to work various shifts, including night shift, weekends, and holidays
Additional Requirements
- Must submit fingerprints to the Missouri Department of Social Services and obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent ID card
- Must provide your own duty-weapon (semi-automatic)
- Must provide your own duty gear which will be nylon web gear including belt, holster (minimum level II retention), magazine pouch, pepper spray and scabbard, baton and scabbard, handcuffs and handcuff pouch
