Job Description:
We are currently seeking candidates for a PRN (as needed) Armed Rotating Shift position. The PRN Armed Rotating Shift position provides the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis. This position requires individuals to be armed and has rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services on a PRN basis, covering shifts for regular security staff when needed
- Rotate through different shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, following protocols and procedures
- Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security breaches
- Conduct regular security checks to identify and address any safety hazards or violations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any security-related incidents or concerns
- Provide excellent customer service and support to employees and visitors when needed
- Complete thorough and accurate incident reports as required
- Stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and industry trends
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid armed security license or permit
- Availability to work on a PRN basis, including rotating shifts and variable schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
- Physically fit and capable of performing the duties required, including standing, walking, and potentially restraining individuals if necessary
- Familiarity with security systems and technology
- Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for the role)
