Camp Bow Wow North Durham is hiring full time dog lovers! We are hiring Front Desk Counselors to welcome our campers & their parents to camp!
Front Desk Counselors work closely with pet parents, vet offices and all other Counselors to ensure every camper is healthy and safe, every pet parent is informed and every counselor is too. Front Desk Counselors are responsible for making sure campers and staff are safe by obtaining and maintaining pertinent health records of current & potential campers. They also ensure the safety of our campers by monitoring reservation numbers before approving reservations for day camp or sleep away camp (boarding). Front Desk Counselors are the first point of contact for new families & their campers, by guiding new families through the new camper processes and ensuring every family has everything they need ahead of time, Front Desk Counselors help set these campers and camp up for success right from the start!
It is important that our Front Desk Counselors build relationships with our pet parents, not just by regularly updating our existing parents about their campers, or educating potential new families on camp, but also by being genuine and showing interest in our campers and their families!
An ideal Front Desk Counselor is friendly, charismatic, driven, organized, detail-oriented, patient, caring, respectful and sales motivated! They need to have a willingness to learn, grow, communicate, and be a part of a committed and thriving team.
Camp is physically demanding so counselors will need to be able to be on their feet for long periods of time and work in varying weather conditions.

*Reliable transportation is a must here at camp as our canine campers are counting on us.
*Our campers are all sizes & breeds; counselors are required to work with all campers.
*Full time, weekends and holidays are required. Flexibility preferred.
*Front Desk Counselors required to have prior customer service experience. Reception experience a plus.
*Prior animal experience is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
