Branch Office Administrator – Livonia, MI

Camfil USA, a leader in filtration products and equipment, has a full time opening for an individual with proven customer service and administrative skills for our Livonia, MI sales branch office.

SUMMARY:

Technical product support and pricing assistance to sales force and customer base. Order processing to include order preparation, entry and maintenance. Order follow-up to include customer set-up, credit, tax issues and expediting. Heavy telephone work to respond to requests for price and availability, order status and expediting, referrals to Representatives and distributors and answers or refers product, technical and application questions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Order processing, pricing, invoicing, and portal billing: ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer orders.
  • Customer service for both internal and external customers, verify and update orders.
  • Work closely with our Sales team to coordinate information and provide pricing information.
  • Supply information and literature to current and potential customers.
  • Order processing to include order preparation, entry and maintenance. Order follow-up to include customer set-up, credit, tax issues and expediting.
  • Respond to customer requests for price and availability, order status and expediting, referrals to Representatives and distributors, and technical and application questions.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software system.
  • Administrative support and general office tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years general office/administrative experience with order processing and warehouse control
  • Accounting experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of an ERP and CRM system is a plus
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have a team-first/professional mentality and be willing to help and support teammates as needed
  • Reliability is a must

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to both office and warehouse surroundings. The noise level in the warehouse environment is usually moderate, certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
