Position and Responsibilities

Cameco’s Port Hope conversion facility is seeking an Administrator to join the human resources team.

In this role, you will:

  • Initiate or approve a variety of HR related employee life cycle events in our Success Factors EC system.
  • Perform a wide range of human resource tasks in support of Total Rewards and Payroll processes.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other areas of the human resources department and Cameco’s corporate office.
  • Ensure that deadlines are met with accuracy.
  • Provide customer service to employees relating to a wide range of inquiries.
  • Maintain and audit the payroll system data.
  • Action various reporting requests and other administrative assignments.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements for the position:

  • Certificate or diploma with a focus on human resources or business
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
  • Comfortable working with and maintaining confidential documentation
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-starter

Assets:

  • Experience with SAP, Success Factors, and WorkForce Solutions
  • Experience in Human Resources
