With little supervision, responsible for planning and managing projects or project components from the design phase through implementation. They obtain the requirements of the project, while leveraging cross-functional relationships, to evaluate and determine objectives, goals, and scope of any given project. They develop detailed project plans and manage all processes throughout the project lifecycle (e.g., resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control processes, testing, documentation, and training). They ensure milestones are achieved and project objectives are met. Ensures quality and client satisfaction of technical and non-technical projects. They identify project risks/issues and carry out studies to identify ways of reducing or solving issues. Facilitates regular meetings, following up on tasks/issues, and transferring important information to senior management. Demonstrates a basic understanding and adheres to departmental processes for change control. Maintains a level of cybersecurity knowledge sufficient to securely accomplish their job duties.
Responsibilities
1. Determine and define project scope and objectives 2. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner 3. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements 4. Track project costs in order to meet budget 5. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan 6. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress 7. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables 8. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution 9. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed 10. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement 11. All other duties as assigned
