Cambridge Spa Group is Hiring a Regional Director Near Reno, NV

We're a health, wellness and skincare company looking for a dynamic, sales-driven leader who is passionate about developing high performing teams. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about building teams, creating a positive culture and driving operational excellence.

The Regional Director at Cambridge Spa Group will lead a multi-unit service-based portfolio in the Sacramento and Reno Region by training, coaching and inspiring managers to deliver best in class metrics. The mark of a successful Regional Director is historical growth in metrics, low employee turnover, operational compliance, and a bench of leaders. The Regional Director adapts to the changing needs of the business and develops portfolio-wide improvements that can be implemented across the organization. All Regional Directors should also constantly brainstorm and develop portfolio-wide improvements that can be made within the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Culture

  • Work through General Managers and/or Area Managers to create a culture of care, support, and equity in all clinics and amongst the leadership team
  • Implement and consistently execute culture-driving initiatives in all locations
  • Ensure employee reviews, annual and 90-day are done on a consistent and timely basis
  • Drive a culture of exceptional employee and customer care
  • Ensure all company benefits are communicated and being utilized
  • Known as a clear and effective communicator

Training & Mentorship

  • Continuously train General Managers and/or Area Managers on soft skills, business acumen, and metrics to strive for professional development
  • Be available for questions from direct reports and use questions as an opportunity to develop their autonomy and critical thinking
  • Ensure all Guest Sales Associates, Clinic leaders, and Service Providers are trained properly and thoroughly
  • Passion for helping their managers build an excellent sales team
  • Work directly with the business managers to develop a keen ability to coach their personnel

Metrics

  • Adopt a consistent process for metric sharing amongst your given area
  • Act on these regular metric reviews and work on areas of opportunity and maintain locations performing well
  • Share bonus results and goals in a timely manner – must perform regular bonus check-ins throughout the bonus timeframe
  • Grow active member base, membership dues, enhancements, retail, skincare volume, service volume and guest count through training, focus and coaching
  • Assist in performing ROI analysis on all events and contests
  • Can effectively lead the management team towards profitability

Operations

  • Improve and uphold all processes and procedures, always looking for the most efficient, cost-effective and relevant processes
  • Execute and uphold Massage Envy and Cambridge Spa business practices
  • Stay up to date with corporate communication and ensure readiness for all initiatives
  • Track inventory and purchase orders to ensure cost-effective business practices
  • Conduct regular clinic walk throughs to ensure compliance with any state/federal/franchisor visit
  • Review clinic payroll reports to audit for errors
  • Keep safety training and awareness of inappropriate conduct policies top of mind
  • Consistent and regular communication with your VP of Operations on all pertinent matters
  • Assist the other above-store team members and executive leadership in special projects, tasks and contests
  • Work closely with HR and the VP of Operations to ensure compliance in all employee relations as it relates to counseling/suspensions/terminations

Staffing

  • Maintain and build a bench of potential assistant managers, business managers and regional assistance
  • Consistently interview to recruit top talent
  • Monitor staffing levels across all departments to ensure all positions are staffed appropriately, paying special attention to overstaffing
  • Ensure all onboarding is done in accordance to company expectations
  • All staff must stay up-to date and current with all licensure, training and documentation in accordance with state/federal/franchisor/company regulations
  • Adept at evaluating talent internally and externally and can coach prospective leaders up
  • Has experience in training direct reports on handling counseling and termination conversations and developing coaching plans for employees

The ideal Regional Director excels at communication and leadership – constantly looking to improve themselves and their team through motivation and training. As with all leaders within Cambridge Spa, we ask that you are honest, hard-working, caring, and smart (in that order). As compensation relates heavily to performance, someone with a tenacity for success will excel. A proven background in retail, wellness, sales, or operations in a multi-unit atmosphere is required. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to travel and spend impactful time in each location on a regular basis. Annual travel to the national conference is required and you are given ample notice to prepare. Must be accessible via phone for emergency calls, able to communicate consistently and effectively through phone and email.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIROMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English. Must be able to see well and able to read fine print. Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 10 pounds – maintaining files and documentation. Must be able to work in a subdued-lit, temperature-controlled work area. Must be able to see and work with a computer screen for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in an open area with other employees. Must be able to travel to all locations under purview.

Spa, Health and Wellness industry experience not required.

Rate of Pay: Up to $125,000 Annually DOE

Location: Sacramento, CA Region and Reno, NV Region
