The Opportunity:
The Cambridge Rindge and Latin School seeks an extended term substitute Mathematics Teacher, Grades 9-12, to join our caring and innovative community during the second semester of the 2022-2023 school year (January 23, 2023 –June 30, 2023). The successful candidate will have experience planning, implementing, and adapting curriculum based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for Mathematics and the associated mathematical practice standards. They will create a positive environment for student learning and involvement, and ensure opportunities for students to be problem solvers by using creativity and critical thinking skills. Leveraging a strong belief that all students are capable of achieving at the highest levels, they will provide multiple access points, scaffolding and ongoing feedback within their instruction for a wide range of learners. As a professional, the teacher will display a collegial spirit that supports and enhances continual professional growth consistent with the educational goals and philosophies of our school community. Moreover, they will be fully committed to continuous learning, improving, reflecting and working together to ensure that all students achieve at high levels.

Cambridge Public Schools is committed to slowing and/or stopping the spread of COVID-19.
