Job Summary:
Our Bartenders at Cambria Hotel Columbus Polaris are responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. This individual will serve various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintain the bar area, ensure guest satisfaction, and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines per company policies. The Bartender will work closely with the rest of the food and beverage team to provide exceptional service to hotel guests.

OPEN INTERVIEWS HELD DAILY 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - We are looking to hire two experienced PT bartenders.

You must be able to start promptly at 5:00 p.m. and work until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Closing times may vary depending on hotel occupancy and business volume.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay rate of $15 per hour. Employees will receive biweekly paychecks and may be eligible for additional benefits such as health insurance, vacation time, and retirement plans.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guests' requests and company recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking inventory and cleaning equipment
- Knowledgeable about the hotel's menus, promotions, and special events to make recommendations and upsell products
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues promptly and courteously
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and team members
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with the rest of the food and beverage team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the overall guest experience
- Attend all required training and meetings as directed by management
- Assist with special events and promotions as needed
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience as a bartender
- Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift over 30 pounds
- TIPS or ServSafe certification preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
