• Assess acute change in the resident’s condition.
• Implement service plan approaches that are agreed upon at the interdisciplinary care conference.
• Act as an advocate for each resident.
• Demonstrate respect for each resident’s dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Use effective communication with medical staff, service providers, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Supervise nurse aides and medication aides and hold them accountable for skillful and effective delivery of each resident’s care.
