Seeking Front Office Receptionist for Dermatology Institute

We are seeking an articulate and self-motivated medical receptionist to join our medical group. This position requires excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate pleasantly with patients and interact with other professionals in the office. Applicant must be professional, vibrant, reliable, punctual, team player, who is looking to make a mark and have a can-do attitude. Candidate will be expected to participate in the performance improvement plan of the organization, will receive cross training pertaining to the practice specialty(s) and other office duties.

Medical receptionists are to create a friendly, welcoming and well-organized front office for patients and to facilitate their flow through the facility.

Responsibilities

*Responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail

*Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone with a smile. Maintains security by following office procedures; monitoring appointment book (check in/Check out and re-scheduling ).

Job Requirements

*MUST HAVE YOUR COVID VACCINES (some exceptions will be accepted)

* Must be Available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

*Must have a VALID CA driver's license and reliable transportation to go to multiple locations (Santa Clarita). You will get reimbursed for mileage.

*Ability to work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas, identifying issues, willing to be crossed trained, and respecting team members.

*HIPAA Compliance is a plus, but not required – complies with all of the Privacy and Confidentiality Policy and Procedures outlined in the “Privacy, Security and Confidentiality Agreement.

*Proficient in Answering phones, Office software and Windows 10 (Excel, gmail, internet, etc)

*Bilingual is required - English and Spanish. Farsi speaking is a plus!

*Good command of the English language, both verbal and written

*knowledge of some Medical Terminology is a plus but not required

*Ability to work independently and meet established deadline
