Caliber Financial Services is Hiring a Remote Information Security Director
- Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive company-wide information security and IT risk management program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information owned, controlled or processed by the company.
- Develop, publish, and maintain up-to-date security policies, standards, and guidelines; and oversee training and dissemination of security policies and practices.
- Create and manage information security and risk management awareness training programs for all employees, contractors, and approved system users
- Build a framework for roles and responsibilities with regards to information ownership, classification, accountability, and protection.
- Work with our Executive team to respond to and address risks and audit findings; define and facilitate the information security risk assessment process, including the reporting and oversight of treatment efforts to address negative findings
- Evaluates potential security breaches, coordinates response, and recommend corrective actions.
- Evaluates new cybersecurity threats and IT trends and develops effective security controls. Oversees development of security awareness programs.

- Define and report on information security metrics.
- Provides project management and leadership to staff and external resources in support of established goals and objectives, improved efficiencies, and problem resolution.
- Maintains current knowledge of industry and regulatory trends and developments for the enterprise technology.
- Supervise staff as assigned in the performance of the job duties.
- Proven track record of successfully leading security initiatives with solid skills in business management and a working knowledge of information security best practices.
- 8 years of experience managing incident response, computer crime, or forensics investigation programs required.
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001, COBIT and NIST.
- 8 years of work on information security technologies, networking and network architecture required.
- Significant knowledge of cyber threat actors and their attack methodologies are required.
