Please make sure to read through most of the requirements below: II.SUMMARY Responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in coordinating and overseeing the Quality ProgramsProvides technical support for the Quality Manager, R & D Department, and Production team and completes employee training on GMPs and Quality Assurance Procedures. Communicates with other departments to help ensure continuous improvement of the production process. III.RESPONSIBILITIES Quality Responsibilities: Performs Internal AuditsTraining of QA associatesQA Procedural ChangesAssists Quality Manager during AuditsPerforms Verifications and Validations IV.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE Communicate effectively - Speak, Read & Write in EnglishMust have ability to move around operations area and outside facilities to perform job functions.Basic computer skillsPerform all assigned responsibilitiesAbility to stand for 12 hoursAbility to climb stairs frequentlyAbility to lift up to 33lbs while climbing stairsAbility to perform mathematical problems including percentages, decimals, addition, and subtractionAbility to work in a fast-paced environment V.QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required Academic/Credentials/Certifications HACCP / FSMA Training – ability to get certifiedSQF Practitioner (preferred)Chemical training - ability to get certifiedChemical dilution test First Aid training and CPR - ability to get certifiedConfined Space Length of experience 3 to 5 years of production experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.Qualified in Quality Assurance is preferred. Specialized skills/technical knowledge Ability to work as part of a team; capable of learning multiple jobs and maintain high quality of work.Ability to identify and analyze production issuesKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Computer skills: Proficient with Excel, Word and OutlookExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent attendance Willing to work overtime and weekends as requested.
