CADI is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Naugatuck, CT

Cadi Company is an established manufacturer and distributor of metals looking for an Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant must be detail oriented, dependable, and responsible for the phones, filing and overseeing day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate for the Office Assistant will have office experience and be conscientious as well as be familiar with excel and word computer programs. Reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Assistant must be a team player, perform administrative tasks and provide support to coworkers.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer the phone (take message and/or direct calls to proper person/ department)
  • Maintain files (over 300 company files with quotes, sales orders, invoices)
  • Other clerical tasks
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Perform data entry as required
  • Work with excel and word computer programs
  • Problem-solver
  • Keep inventory of office supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Driver’s license (bank and post office daily)
  • Office experience – manufacturing environment a plus
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent attitude and attendance a must
  • High school diploma or equivalent
