What You’ll Get to Do

CACI is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to work with a dynamic team of ship Marine/ Mechanical/ Electrical/Structural engineers. You will provide technical support on various engineering projects alone and as part of an engineering team primarily in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Military Sealift Command (MSC). 

More About the Role

• You will provide technical support on various engineering projects alone and as part of an engineering team primarily in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Military Sealift Command (MSC)
• Provide engineering services support to including Spec writing, design, mechanical calculations, outfitting design, marine drawing and work item development, selected record drawing (SRD) updates, cost estimates, ship checks and other technical work document preparation in accordance with drawing standards and good marine design practice
• Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate's degree
• Ability to write clear reports and specifications in English
• ·Ability to interface with team members, technical leads and Project Managers
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good verbal (English) communication skills
• Willingness to travel ≤10% of the time
• Must be a US Citizen

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

• BSME, BSCE, BSAE or BSNA/ME
• 5 or more years' experience with US Navy and/or US commercial ship design standards
• Active Clearance
• Ability to work alone on individual projects with minimal supervision and with other Engineering Disciplines on a team
• Ability to create Presentations, Machinery arrangements/ piping takeoffs in PowerPoint
