CACI is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to join our Charon team in assisting to develop and maintenance automated test stations for production products. This is a “bridge role” between Engineering and Manufacturing departments. The Charon team specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers' next requirement. The one they do not know they have yet. Our products are used successfully throughout the commercial, military, and Intelligence Communities. We pride ourselves on our self-funded product development driven by our customer demands. We innovate through our long-term trusted customer relationships and operate as a commercial provider while also providing sophisticated solutions to the government. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide specialized SWaP-optimized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications.
Successful candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance. Therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Testing RF hardware and systems.
Minimum of 5yrs experience plus a BA degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field
There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain Secret clearance.
Testing Digital hardware and systems.
Writing procedures for manufacturing test.
Developing automated manufacturing test setups.
Writing test scripts in formal languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.
Using configuration management systems (i.e. Github, Gitlab, Xray, TestRail)
Specifying/selecting Test Equipment.
Automating Test Equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
Automated RF calibration techniques and noise floor measurements
Providing recommendations on design for manufacturing test.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving and debugging
Excellent communication and documentation skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience as lead test engineer
Experience training test operators
Ability to understand component level hardware debug and troubleshooting.
Proficiency working in Linux OS
Experience with programming languages C , C#
Experience with Labview
Design and 3D printing of custom test fixtures.
