We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Permanent Electrical Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment, and who has a keen interest in pushing the boundaries of electrical engineering. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, using their expertise to test and validate innovative electrical systems and components. The role is hands-on, and requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies and principles, as well as a strong background in PLC, AC, DC, AutoCAD Electrical, and B&R Automation.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute detailed test plans for electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and quality standards.
2. Utilize PLC, AC, DC, AutoCAD Electrical, and B&R Automation to design and implement testing procedures.
3. Analyze and interpret test data, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
4. Collaborate closely with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing procedures, results, and subsequent actions.
6. Continually monitor and evaluate industry trends and advancements in electrical testing methodologies.
7. Ensure all testing procedures and practices comply with health and safety regulations.
8. Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing within the technology industry.
3. Proven expertise in PLC, AC, DC, AutoCAD Electrical, and B&R Automation.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate.
6. Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
7. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively share technical information with both technical and non-technical team members.
8. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
