CACI is actively looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to join our Charon team in Herndon, VA to work within our Engineering team to manage tools, systems, and automation efforts that improve workflow efficiency. The role will be responsible for building, deploying and maintaining internal applications and tools to improve efficiency, automation, and system monitoring across many active projects and engineering disciplines. A key requirement is the ability to collaborate with our development team to identify goals and tasks that achieve the needs of our environment. The successful candidate must be highly motivated to learn new technologies, and drive to continuously evaluate and offer solutions to move the team forward.

Our Charon team specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers' next requirement. The one they do not know they have yet. Our products are used successfully throughout the commercial, military, and Intelligence Communities. We pride ourselves on our self-funded product development driven by our customer demands. We innovate through our long term trusted customer relationships and operate as a commercial provider while also providing sophisticated solutions to the government. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide specialized SWaPoptimized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications.

Successful candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance. Therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.

More About the Role:

• Deploy system software and tools as required in multiple environments to support engineering operations.
• Actively monitor system for alerts and troubleshoot/restore as needed
• Identify and drive automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Managing Linux & Windows server environments and engineering software tools
• Coordinate with IT to maintain and update software and systems as required.
• Working with the development team, identify, evaluate and select infrastructure and services that improve workflows and productivity.
• Run and maintain different product environments (dev, staging, sandbox, testing, production).
• Provide DevOps support with scripting and programming to develop, test and manufacture our products

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years of experience
• GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Jira
• Experience managing multiple Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)
• Installation and management of multiuser software tools
• Package Management Registries (NPM, Verdaccio)
