Hiring range for this position is $42,182.40- $50,398.40. Initial placement for new employees is customarily at entry level through 35% percentile. Pay grade for this position is 15.
General Definition of Work:Education and Experience:
Requires graduation from high school and considerable experience as a semiskilled or skilled worker in the maintenance, repair and/or construction activity to which assigned. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Physical Requirements:
This is heavy work requiring the exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects; work requires climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions; work requires climbing on roofs and entering confined spaces; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, requires use of measuring devices, assembly or fabrication of parts at or within arm’s length, requires operation of machines, motor vehicles and equipment, requires inspection and determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work performed and performed by others, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and oils. Requires performance of tasks that require wearing specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including half face mask and respirator.
